Dog Dies After Vicious Neighbor Stabs His Belly With Pocketknife Multiple Times

The Crestwood Police Department is looking for the man who is suspected of fatally stabbing his neighbor’s dog. Teddy, the 3-and-a-half-year old Border Collie, had to be put down later after suffering multiple stab wounds in his belly. Teddy’s owners had witnessed the entire turn of events.

Apparently, Teddy walked into the neighbor’s yard with his doggie friend as there is no fence separating the two yards. He wasn’t aggressive, but the neighbor was enraged to see the dogs. The man angrily made eye-contact with the owners, and then walked over to Teddy. Before the owners could do anything, the man grabbed Teddy by the neck and stabbed him in the stomach multiple times.
Teddy was still wagging his tail and begging to be saved when he was taken to the vet’s. But he had to be euthanized because of the severity of his wounds. The cops have identified the suspect as John Ross III. Please spread the word and help the cops find him.
Update: John Ross III has been arrested on charges of animal abuse and unlawful use of a weapon. But he soon walked away on a bond of $2500. There is no future court date set as of now. If convicted, Ross will face 5 years in prison for both counts. Meanwhile, Teddy’s owners have hired an attorney and opened a Facebook page to share Teddy’s tragic story and push for harsher penalties for animal abusers. Spread the word.
